The Camrose Sea Serpents are a summer swim club, whose main objective is to encourage its members in the development of swimming techniques and to provide opportunities for its members to compete against other summer swim clubs. Swimmers must be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres to register.
The Camrose Sea Serpents are a competitive swimming team. Members will be expected to attend at least one of the first two swim meets when the season begins, (meets begin the end of May/early June - schedules will be posted) the Camrose Swim meet and Regionals. The Club will cover the cost of swimmers attending these 3 meets. Members will pay $10.00 for participationg in other swim meets. This is a subsidized rate - swim meet fees can be as high as $27.00/swimmer/meet. If financial hardship prohibits a swimmer from entering a meet, please talk to the President, Tamara Saby. Members are encouraged to participate in as many other swim meets as schedules permit.
Camrose Swim Club Annual General Meeting: A potluck wind up party/annual general meeting is held at the end of the each season. At this time awards are presented. The Annual General Meeting, which includes the election of the Executive and Directors for the next season, will follow the potluck and awards presentation. Notification of the windup/annual general meeting will be posted on the bulletin board and sent via email.
